The Boulder Creek Marching Band was founded in 2004 with the opening of Boulder Creek High School. Over the last 10 years, the programs have grown to include over 100 members. These members have earned their spot competing in the ABODA State Festival the last three years in a row, earning 5th place in Division II in 2012, 12th place in Division I in 2013, and 11th place in Div I in 2014.

The concert bands are the archstone and pride of Boulder Creek, earning their first Superior with Distinction ratings in 2013 in both the Wind Ensemble and the Symphonic Winds bands. The have won top honors many times since. The band programs have also produced several top All-Region and All-State musicians.
